Raquel Ramos
Attorney at Law
Ms. Ramos is an attorney licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas, and the Supreme Court of Illinois, as well as being a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Ms. Ramos graduated cum laude from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and received her Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law. As a law student, Ms. Ramos held internships in both the Oregon Department of Justice as well as the Governor’s Office; and served as Treasurer for the Willamette Civil Liberties Union.
Prior to joining Jaime Barron, PC, Ms. Ramos was as a Supervising Attorney at the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (“RAICES”) in San Antonio, Texas. She was also an immigration attorney at Catholic Charities, Legal Aid, and Memorial Assistance Ministries. Ms. Ramos has experience in a variety of immigration cases, including: family-based petitions, waivers, DACA, VAWA, T visa, U visa, Consular Processing and Adjustment of Status.
In her spare time, Ms. Ramos enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
