Isaiah Barrientos
Attorney at Law
Mr. Barrientos is an attorney licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas. He is a first-generation Guatemalan American, born and raised in Rhode Island, and is fluent in both English and Spanish. He graduated summa cum laude from Roger Williams University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies with a double major in Political Science and a minor in Professional and Public Writing. He later received his Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts.
Mr. Barrientos’s parents are originally from Guatemala City, Guatemala, and immigrated to the United States in the 1980s, later becoming U.S. citizens. He was inspired to pursue a career in immigration law after learning about his parents’ immigration journey and growing up in a diverse community of immigrant families. Having witnessed firsthand how the immigration process can profoundly affect people’s lives, Mr. Barrientos is dedicated to helping others navigate their own immigration journeys.
During law school, he gained hands-on experience in immigration law through Northeastern’s Immigrant Justice Clinic, where he assisted clients seeking asylum and Temporary Protected Status (TPS).
Outside of work, Mr. Barrientos enjoys working out, watching and playing sports, playing guitar, and spending time with his dog.
