Ms. Sustaita is an attorney licensed by the State Bar of Texas. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas with degrees in Political Science and Spanish. Ms. Sustaita received her Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas. During her law school career, Ms. Sustaita interned with the International Rescue Committee and worked with its SAFE Department, which focused on providing legal representation to those in removal proceedings.
She also held officer positions in the Hispanic Law Students Association and the Immigration Law Student Association. Additionally, she served as a student attorney at the VanSickle Family Law Clinic during law school.
Ms. Sustaita is a first-generation Mexican-American. She is fluent in English and Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, pottery, and spending time with her friends and family.
