Christina Contreras
Attorney at Law
Ms Contreras is a lawyer licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, with minors in Philosophy and Legal Studies, from the University of Texas-Pan American (now the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley). She then attended the Texas A&M School of Law in Fort Worth.
During her time at law school, Ms Contreras volunteered at non-profit organisations and participated in the Family Law Clinic. She was also an active member of the Hispanic Law Student Association (HLSA) at A&M School of Law.
After graduating, she began working with immigrants. She was a Supervising Attorney for a non-profit organisation for over five years. Her trauma-informed approach to her clients sets her apart from other practitioners.
She treats each case with care and compassion. She is also a fierce advocate for the immigrant community. She enjoys acting as a buffer between clients and the complex legal system to make the legal process as smooth as possible.
Outside of work, she enjoys puzzles, science fiction books, spending time with her family, and attending concerts and comedy shows.
