Ana Carolina De Castro is an attorney licensed by the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico and the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. Ms. De Castro earned her Juris Doctor from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising and Retail Marketing from Johnson and Wales University, located in Providence, Rhode Island. Ms. De Castro has several years of experience as an attorney in multiple areas of law, which include, but are not limited to, her work on complex cases before the Federal Bankruptcy Court and Corporate and Commercial Law. Her vast knowledge in different areas of law makes her approach to cases unique and creative.
Prior to joining Jaime Barron, PC's team, Ms. De Castro worked as an attorney supporting the Drug Enforcement Administration where she developed her knowledge and skills in Federal Administrative Cases. At that time, she intentionally made the decision to make a pivot in her legal career seeking more purpose. Ms. De Castro is passionate about advocating for immigrant rights, and aiding underserved communities. During law school she volunteered in the women’s organization in her school to help victims severely affected by Hurricane Maria. Furthermore, from a young age Ms. De Castro developed a passion for helping people in underserved communities and she volunteered in centers in Puerto Rico dedicated to the assistance of handicapped children and female victims of domestic abuse.
Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Ms. De Castro is fully bilingual in Spanish and English. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, running, traveling, and reading.
