Stefka Stoyanova

Stefka was born in Sofia, Bulgaria and grew up in Bulgaria and Russia. After high school, Stefka attended Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, School of Law in Bulgaria, where she earned a Law degree (LLB), a degree indicated by a Latin acronym that translates to a Bachelor of Laws here in the United States.

After graduating from Sofia University, Stefka became a member of the Sofia Bar and went to work as a counselor in international and local laws in Sofia, Bulgaria. During her law school years, she clerked for a local firm before joining the civil law unit as a legal consultant. It was here that she developed key interests and skills in civil and international laws, writing and research. Wanting to further her knowledge, she then went on to obtain her Master of Laws degree at Southern Methodist University.

After obtaining her advanced law degree from SMU, Stefka worked in the legal area of immigration law for over 10 years assisting in family and business immigration, consular process, and adjustment of status. Stefka is an immigrant herself who experienced in person each step of the immigration process and has chosen the rewarding job of helping immigrants achieve their American dreams and keeping their families together. Stefka is happy raising her two sons and exploring with them the beauty of this country and its people.
