Casandra Boyce López is an attorney at the Law Office of Jaime Barron, PC. She is currently practicing Immigration Law. Previously, Ms. Boyce López worked as an immigration attorney in Houston, Texas where she gained experience in representing individuals in matters involving removal proceedings before the Immigration Court, consular processing, adjustment of status, naturalization, and family-based visa petitions. Ms. Boyce López is passionate about advocating and serving the immigrant community in Texas.
Ms. Boyce López received her bachelor’s degree from The University of Sacred Heart in Puerto Rico graduating Magna Cum Laude and obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico.
She is a licensed attorney in Puerto Rico and a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Bar Association of Puerto Rico. She is admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and is a court-certified mediator in Puerto Rico. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Ms. Boyce López was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico where she lived, studied, and worked until 2017. Previous to practicing law, she worked as a reporter for various print publications on the Island. In her free time, Ms. Boyce López enjoys reading, going on road trips, traveling, exercising, and spending quality time with family, friends, and her lovely red tabby rescue cat.
