Mónica Adriano

Attorney at Law

Monica Adriano is an attorney licensed by the State Bar of Texas and is a graduate of Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law.  Monica received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Southern Methodist University. 

Before law school, Monica obtained immigration experience by working at Catholic Charities as a Citizenship Caseworker while pursuing her bachelor’s degree.  Upon graduating, Monica taught bilingual students in the Dallas area.   In addition, Monica obtained her MBA in International Business from St. John’s University, Rome Campus, while she lived, worked, and studied abroad in Rome Italy. While still working as a bilingual teacher, Monica enrolled in SMU Law School’s evening program.  As a law student, Monica was President of the Hispanic Law Students’ Association (HLSA).  In addition, Ms. Adriano was a Social Events Volunteer for the Mexican Consulate in Dallas, Texas.  During her last year of law school, Monica secured an internship with USCIS and also participated in SMU’s Justice Clinic.

Monica was born in Mexico and was raised in Dallas, Texas, and has a passion for immigration law and for helping the immigrant community.  Monica speaks three languages: English, Spanish, and Italian and has lived in the United States, Mexico, and Italy.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, studying foreign languages, and spending time with her family.
